Dons Barn was once an early 1700’s Winnowing Barn. Now converted into a cosy cottage it has an impressive view over the Orchard through the massive Barn door windows. Upstairs this effect is magnified by the gantry that separates the window from the bedroom.
It has lime washed or old soft redbrick walls with lots of beams exposed in the high wooden vaulted ceiling and a lovely millstone table.
Dons Barn has one spacious bedroom and is suitable for a couple only, it also enjoys a small sunny herb garden & breakfast patio as well as having use of the orchard gardens.
Dons Barn is one of the six cottages that make up the Old Grove Farm which dates back to the 1720s. If you would like to learn more about The Old Grove Farm where it all started and where we are based please see my website all about it at www.grovefarm-cottages.co.uk
